Are interested in improving your horses balance and flexibility? Would you like to work towards a higher understanding of true collection? Have you always wanted to learn more about classical in-hand training? This is your opportunity!
Join us for our ongoing in-hand class and work on building a foundation for collection! Janet Manley will host monthly small-group classes focusing on classical in-hand work to strengthen and supple your horse while giving you a deeper understanding of the biomechanics of collection and how to work towards it.
Class will be split into beginner and advanced groups suitable for each horse’s development. The day will start with a demonstration of in-hand work with a Hy Court schoolmaster followed by a discussion of equine biomechanics. Participants will then have the opportunity to work with Hy Court horses so they can work on developing correct feel before moving on to work with their own horses. Each hands-on group after the theory discussion will be 1 ½ hours long.
Tuition for each class is $75 and includes the demo and biomechanics discussion as well as one (beginner or advanced) hands-on class. It is important to continue to build on your work, so we are offering a discount to $200 if you register for all three classes at the same time. To be eligible for the discount, you must select "pay the full amount" at checkout and enter "1" in the box for "Registration for In-Hand Class Series". The $75 regular tuition plus $125 will cover tuition for all three classes in the series.
Space is limited to 6 horses per group, and we expect these clinics to fill quickly, so be sure to get your registration in promptly! If you are unsure of which group would be best for you and your horse, please contact Amanda Wilson at 512-422-7134 or Amanda@HyCourtFarm.com.
