Sport Horse Versatility is an exciting new sport that encourages refinement, rideability and 'just plain' usefulness of the horse through the development of valuable skills in and out of the arena.  More information is available on the Sport Horse Versatility page of our website.

 

This clinic will focus on the working phase of SHV, and will begin with de-spooking work in the arena to ensure a safe, successful experience while out working the course.  The groups will then move to the versatility course for a demonstration and explanation of obstacle performance followed by ample time for practice on the obstacles, assistance and feedback.

 

Each group will be limited to five riders to allow for ample individual attention.  Groups will work in two-hour sessions.  Sessions may be organized into beginner (for those with no SHV experience) and advanced (for those who have trained or competed in SHV) as registration requires.  Tuition for this clinic is $65.
